While others slept, he rose at 4:30 a.m., running three to five miles before school in pursuit of excellence driven by a desire to match and exceed the standard set before him. That relentless routine quietly sculpted his physique long before he ever set foot on a bodybuilding stage.
At the same time, Doc immersed himself in theatre and stage performance, absorbing the craft through his grandmother, the legendary Kathleen Gumbs, an acclaimed actress and producer. One defining evening, while performing Samson and Delilah, Doc commanded the stage with rare physical presence and emotional intensity. A bodybuilder and coach in the audience took notice not just of his chiseled physique, but of the commanding energy he projected. That night marked the convergence of performance, discipline, and destiny.
At just 17 years old, Doc stepped onto the bodybuilding stage with a physique sculpted in extraordinary precision and a presence so commanding that audiences whispered he looked god‑like. In that defining moment, The legend of DOC GOD was born. That same night, while still in high school, he captured his nation's highest bodybuilding honor winning the National Championship and earning the prestigious title of Mr. Anguilla, instantly becoming a symbol of excellence and strength for his country.

Doc's ascent through the fitness world is a masterclass in relentless dedication. With 27 championship titles worldwide, including the historic 2007 Musclemania World Championship, he became the first athlete from Anguilla to claim a global bodybuilding crown elevating the Anguilla flag on the world stage.
